Wings Over the Rockies 2015: Fossils and Feathers

The theme for the 19th annual Wings Over the Rockies Festival is “Fossils and Feathers”, inspired by the recent exceptional find of a fossil bed of significant importance in the Kootenay National Park.

Participants will have a chance to go on more than 90 field trips, take part in workshops and listen to presentations. The event’s Guest Scientist and Keynote Speaker will be Jean-Bernard Caron, who will attend the Festival for several days to share his research and discoveries in the field.

This year’s festival runs from May 4 to 10, registration began on April 6.

Do not miss this exceptional opportunity and book a room in the Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge, which could be a great starting point for your field trips, due to its advantageous location.
